7 Months Adjusted

Aerin has had a fussy weekend, but we're hopeful that it's a phase that will soon pass. For some reason, she won't take teethers of any kind, so all we can do is give her Infant Tylenol and rub Little Teethers paste on her gums. Her sleep has been a little erratic, but she went down at her normal time last night and woke up at a reasonable hour, so I'm hopeful it was temporary.

Aerin is sitting totally without support. She's been close for a while, but it was just this weekend that she decided she didn't need to prop herself up.

Aerin's Grandnana was here this week and it was wonderful for all of us. Andrew and I got to go out a few times (we saw a movie in a theater!) and Aerin got to be adored by her grandmother. It's always such a blessing when my Big Momma visits and we're counting the minutes until she comes back.

Awww, teething is no fun. Emma didn't like teethers, either, but would chew and suck on a washcloth that we got damp and then froze. It seemed to help. Rubbing the gums seemed to help some, too (the gel really only helped for a few seconds and it's expensive, so we ditched it pretty fast.) I hope she feels better soon!

Hey, I just read that the swing Aerin is using in this picture was recalled. I'm not sure of that, but you might want to check it out. (It appears that that is the 3 pt. harness model, which was recalled. The 5 pt. harness ones were not, as I understand it.)

Thanks for the heads-up. I checked out Fisher Price and the Consumer Products Safety Commission and they don't have that particular swing(Aquarium Take-Along Swing) listed. They have a cradle swing listed, but not our model.

Okay, good. We have a Graco take-along swing, but it has a 5 pt harness and was not recalled. I just wan't sure which swing the person saying it was recalled was talking about. Glad it's safe!
