Day 99

Aerin is a remarkable baby. Not only does she make eye contact, but she's able to track objects. She loves to stare at her momma, especially when she's eating, and today she looked at her daddy. Yesterday, she astounded me. I was holding her on my chest and she pushed herself up with her arms and held her head up and looked at me. I couldn't believe it. She has excellent neck control and a very strong grasp. She's eating very well and getting bigger every day.

She did not want to stay in her bassinet today, so Momma and Daddy held her. She's in her sling right now.

Yesterday Aerin got to meet her Aunt Cara for the first time, which was very exciting.

We're going to see Dr. Al-Mateen tomorrow morning and Aerin will get her second RSV vaccine.

Wow, what a strong girl! She'll be running circles around you in no time at all. :) And that's a good thing, although it can be bittersweet.

Keep it up, little one! And good job Mom and Dad. You hang in there. :)

Love,

Anne/kq

glad to see she is doing so well. when scott came home he wanted to be held all the time too. i got a swing and it made all the difference. he practically lived in it and was happy to do so. not that he was unloved, but it was easier to make dinner and clean house if he was in the swing. keep up the great work!

you better keep an eye on her, or she might start pushing your pumpkins off the porch. just the scary ones, of course.
