Today is a big day. I didn't get to dry nurse Aerin, but that's because they switched her to the cannula! This time she seems to be tolerating it much better - it's been about 3 hours and she's not desatting. She's still getting a bath later on, which they wouldn't do if she wasn't stable.
She could still need to go back on the Vapotherm, so we're being cautiously optimistic.

Our beautiful daughter, Aerin Amelia Marx, was born 14 weeks premature on September 12, 2005. She weighed 1 pound, 12 ounces and was 13 inches long. Our precious micropreemie is now a healthy toddler whose progress is truly miraculous.
