Today was pretty uneventful. Aerin ate for 10 minutes at the breast, then fell asleep. The nurses say that she's doing great, but I'm frustrated. This is the last step before she can come home and I want her to get there right now. I know I have to be patient, but easier said than done.
We do have some big news - Aerin is 4 pounds (4 pounds, 0.06 ounces, to be exact)!

I stumbled across your blog when Aerin was just ten days old and have been reading it ever since. (I hope you don't mind.) I wanted to comment today because I am so happy that Aerin has joined the four pound club and is close to coming home! Hopefully, it won't be too much longer. (((hugs))) She'll get there. I have faith that she is not home in your arms yet because she is where she needs to be. It's so hard to wait for her, I know, but it will be over soon. Then she'll be home with you and you will get her as much as you want. Hang in there!

Way to grow Arein! Kira and Andrew, you are both doing great. I know it can be frustrating when she doesn't get nursing right way, but most preemies don't do nearly this well this soon.
About diapers... CVS brand run almost a full size small. When my Scott came home at 4lbs 3oz, the newborn size were actually alittle big. He wore that size for almost a month, then we had to move up either the next size CVS or and other brand size 1. Best wishes and G*d Bless (which he already has, as I can tell from your posts!)
