A little bit of bad news to report today: Aerin has a head cold. It's not serious at all, and the doctor laughed and mocked us when we wondered whether Aerin should be readmitted.
A little bit of good news: Aerin's weighs five pounds!

Our beautiful daughter, Aerin Amelia Marx, was born 14 weeks premature on September 12, 2005. She weighed 1 pound, 12 ounces and was 13 inches long. Our precious micropreemie is now a healthy toddler whose progress is truly miraculous.

5 lbs--that's enormous! We're so glad Aerin is home. She'll get over her cold soon. It's so sad when they are babies and are sick, but it passes.
